Oil and crayon on paper; 6 pieces each 44×122 inches, 1.1×3 meter; each circle 7 feet, 2.1 meter diameter; installed at THE PROJECTS in FAT Village, Fort Lauderdale, FL
The paintings are painted on a flat surface in preparation for the circular installation. Movement and interchangeability are suggested in the painting and by the installation of the elevated rotundas floating in space. The performative character of the activated space motivates the visitor to position oneself in space and relate to the work.
